Should I start a blog make-up, and if so, where do I start?

For starters, I have 14. I love reading other blogs people have done and think it would be fun! I love makeup, and I want to be a journalist when she grows up, so write a blog would be to my alley. My questions are ... 1. Must it be a "professional" writing a blog? More specifically, a blog make? 2. Do you know any good website for me to use (preferably free)?
