Date Cinderella dream wits against the cruel reality

"Tonight is the menu:

Zucchini fritte with cucumber mint yogurt.
Filet mignon cooked to order in a mushroom wine sauce topped with fried onion strings, accompanied by roasted garlic rosemary potatoes.
Dessert, you will enjoy a decadent chocolate, creme brulee with fruit.
All this with a glass favorite wine. "

Oh, I could not believe my eyes and ears. The wonderful dinner was about to take was happening in my backyard own. The children had an early dinner and behaved like little people grew up watching a movie in your room (totally unbelievable but true, for a moment I wondered if these were really my children). My husband had set the table for two with a beautiful table, candles and all. It was really a dream date under the stars.

However, last year my husband and I had been fixing up our backyard and we had a dining room set, patio, so the question "Where the devil is the dining room table?" Everything was so great that I forgot to ask.

The next day, so that a completely different story. I was running my work friendly, and went to the backyard. It was a harsh reality check and I knew that was the dining room table come. My husband had used a large white lava gray cube and put it face down on the floor, then on top of it which had a large square piece of wood. All this had dressed the night before with nice white table placed at the top. Now, the real deal was a sight to behold.

That I had to applaud his ingenuity, but I felt like Cinderella except this was the reality.
