WordPress Xml Sitemap Generator Plugin
This plugin will generate a special XML site map that will help search engines like Google, MSN, Yahoo and Ask.com to better index your blog. With a map, it is much easier for crawlers to see the entire structure of your site and retrieved more efficiently. The plug-in compatible with all types of WordPress generated pages as well as custom URLs. Also notifies all major search engines every time create a post about the new content.

This version is not compatible with the new multi-function WordPress 3.0 sites yet. The plugin will be inactive while this function is activated. If you are using this feature, try the new beta version that is fully compatible with multiple sites as well as the activation of the net!
This version is compatible with all versions of WordPress from 2.1. If you are still using an older one, using version 2.7.1 instead.
- Upload the whole directory in the directory wp-content/plugins
- Use your favorite FTP program to create two files in your WordPress directory (that's where the wp-config.php is) named sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gz and do that through writing CHMOD 666. More information about CHMOD and how to make script files available on the WordPress Codex and stadtaus.com. Making your writing all the blogs directory is no longer recommended for security reasons.
- Activate the plugin in the plugins management page
- Open the plugin configuration page, located under Options -> XML Sitemap and build the sitemap the first time. If you receive an error permission, see the file permissions for newly created files.
- The plugin will automatically update the map to post a message, so there nothing else to do:)

There are no comments (or have disabled) and all my posts have a priority of zero!
Please turn off automatic calculation of the priority and define a static priority for jobs.
Why I have to always click on "Back to Sitemap" if I modified a post?
No, if you edit / publish / delete a message, the map is automatically regenerate
Both the configuration options ... Do I have to change?
No, only if you wish. The defaults should be fine!
