Writer looking for site template?

Hi, I'm a sci-fi/fantasy writer of young adult literature (think more along the lines of Buffy the Vampire Percy Jackson Slayer and Twilight!) And I am in need of some help. I'm trying to create a website that is compatible with WordPress, and I'm having a little trouble to find something suitable. It seems that all the templates I'm finding more focused on the work of visual art. I want something that is not dependent images, as I I want my writing is the focus of the website. Of course, a portrait of the author would be great, but I do not want to distract me. Also, do not have the resources to reach image after image to put on the site. I just want something stylish and attractive eyes. Does anyone know where I can find templates? Bonus points for any person who can point me in the direction of a good artist can create affordable cartoon pictures of people!
