WordPress or Blogger?

I'm thinking about starting a blog shortly. I am a very established writer Fictionpress, and I thought it was time to start something to keep good communication going with other writers and some of my readers. I read that people look down on Livejournal as a professional or exclusive, and although I loved cute items they had, I'm willing to keep and open mind. I've seen some blogs of WordPress and Blogger both, and they all look good. No one knows exactly which one to try, so hopefully someone with experience can help. Also, if you say WordPress, can you clarify if it is free? I'm confused about all hosting. Thanks in advance!

Hello Lisle, would definitely say that WordPress is the most popular and flexible of the two, but I guess it would come down to personal preference. As for hosting .. a web host own website address (called a domain) if available. There are some great options out there for beginners. My parents without a WordPress site configuration in the Service Plus Web site (link is in my sources if you want details). You have to pay for accommodation, but that's the same everywhere. A set custom wordpress what you want in / on it. You choose a theme and everything. They even offer email support, so if you ever have any concerns or problems with wordpress can only shoot an email and we will help you configure it. I know of no other hosts do. Hope this helps!
