Photoshop Web Templates .. Help?

Ok so I'm familiar with photoshop. I can make the designs I want, no problem. The problem im facing is what to do after I've made a design. For example, if I make a design in photoshop then its only going to be saved as a. Psd. What should be made to work in that Blogger or WordPress. I understand theres coding invloved I have no idea. Is there a guide to help step by step? Im just want to know what to do after I've done my design. Thanks

Then you need to cut the design. Use the cutting tool to delineate and define elements within the PSD., and then go to File> Save For Web ... It will create a folder (images) and put all the items within that folder. It can be a bit problematic when overlapping elements, but generally works pretty well.
