WordPress Vs Typepad

Which is better for my needs, WordPress or Typepad?

I can not understand which one to go with, both seem to have pros and cons. I want to have about 2-4 separate pages / blogs preferably a website that can only vs. Blog. And I like to have adsense on my site, good SEO, which eventually will allow me to add a message board and an affordable accommodation. fairly easy to configure for someone who knows very little about HTML Your thoughts, please? Thanks
