After disturbing the members of my family with emails, I decided to get a spot and the use of WordPress (it was free of charge). Family can see or not. I'm not looking to make a professional blog or anything. So far, I managed to get a text list of all message, rather than the entire message, do not want, or more often I have to create two pages ... and I even got a page not found a couple of times. All I want to do is have messages in a single page showing all the videos or whatever into sections. 3.0.4. Does anyone know where there is a tutorial or a method to do this? I can make a page which is the only list in my "Pages". I can make my web page static, but continues to show a home page that I can not edit mysterious (not shown in the pages). I have tried to ½ dozen topics. thanks ...

Forget the "home" Page terminology. Some of the issues still use it, but all it does is point to return to the main index (which defaults to index.php). In fact, forget "pages" in general, unless you want to static displays. You want your messages, messages that do, and displayed in index.php in order reverse chronological unless otherwise specified. Depending on the subject, it is possible that fragments instead of full messages, to avoid this, pursue the appropriate template (which probably called "Main Index Template"), and change the "the_excerpt" reference to "the_content." Fall in the WordPress Codex: http://codex.wordpress.org/ and you can search any part of the code used in any place except the style sheet (which is technically not WordPress specific, anyway).
