I want to upgrade to WordPress 2.6.1 to WordPress 2.6.2. Simply make the changes work?

I have an installation of WordPress 2.6.1, and I wonder if he was okay, just modify the code as it appears on this page:% http://trac.wordpress.org/changeset?old_path=tags 2F2.6.1 and age = 8849 and NEW_PATH =% 2F2.6.2 labels and new = 8849 It lists the changes made to the source code between 2.6.1 and 2.6.2. If I make changes directly to the files themselves, is that work or needed * * FTP the file. Given the lower number of changes, it will be less hassle for me to edit what FTP - because I'm on GoDaddy and kept in disconnection when multiple files are FTP around saying, "Too many incoming requests from this IP address.

I tried, and did not work. Apparently, changes in other files that were not found or were outside of the labels. Poor version control. I also had to update these File: wp-includes functions.php wp-admin includes file.php addition, the report does not show the new files, the only changes. I think it will be stuck to follow instructions and FTP.
