WordPress Theme Editor Permissions

WordPress will not let me save my changes theme CSS Editor?
I made sure I have all the correct permissions .. there is no save button for this place. Am using WordPress Version 2.5.1
There should be a button that says "Update File" in the edit screen. If this does not appear and the following message: - "If this file can be written can edit." then you need to change the permsissions to the CSS file for that topic. css file that normally will be somewhere like this: - / public_html / wp-content / themes / theme-name / style.css persmissions can change the file to "666" (ie to allow the "write" function) using cPanel file manager or a free FTP program like FileZilla. There is a free video showing how to do here: http://www.mat4.com/videos/ If this still does not work (although it should, but some hosts may not allow file permissions to be reset or chnage automatically with great speed), then you can try downloading the file style.css to your local PC (via FTP), making changes locally and then upload the modified file. Hope this helps, Matt Garrett
