WordPress ... How do his best
I recently purchased a Premium WordPress theme, I've had my eye on for a while, the issue is
WPRemix called. As the owner of many top quality items, I justified the purchase from the standpoint of more design options that can not be aa bad thing. Plus I had heard Remix a lot about my curiosity had finally gotten the better of me. The purchase price of $ 75.00 for single use
license was in line with most Other issues also claimed to be "Premium" in nature.
The site's home WPRemix the marketing hype makes some statements very bold, he was eager to
tested. Here is the statement of the main theme of potential customers:
"Bundled more than 50 strategically designed and coded static page templates, theme
enables everyone to publish small sites in minutes saving week time, maintaining top notch
compatible with the standards of quality. "
50 templates, that's 10 home pages, 20 pages internal site, 5 pages gallery type, five product pages
and 5 various special pages. If you do the math, it actually comes to 45 pages. some
manipulating the numbers, I guess it could also include a WordPress Blog Page, creating a contact page and a plug-in also can create with the count of the template to a total of 47, still shy + 3 templates "over 50".
While not technically pages The topic also comes with four headers, sidebars and an optional 6-footer. If you have these additional files the number of total staff amounts 57. This little warning is just an observation I've made and no critical point considering that most WordPress themes come with only one page "Home" and a page "blog". The cut number of templates that includes Remix is where the real strength lies. It's not just the number templates, but the careful selection and design that went into them.
By studying the templates closely, the subtle considerations that went into the design and extensive cross-browser compatible CSS style becomes apparent. With Remix is difficult to create a new page style or design has not been included. This translates directly in a time shorter development site when creating new websites. The diversity and flexibility of CSS design is as if someone spilled a box "LEGO" pieces on the floor in front of you than anything imaginable could be created. Anyone who has designed more than a few websites will tell you not re-invent the wheel. Cut and paste CSS code snippets here and there is a common practice when coming up with designs for new sites.
Because WordPress offers a WYSIWYG visual design tab in which to work, a false sense of simplicity can be developed for those who know little of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). And this happens to be the biggest complaint on the subject Remix. However, it is all a matter of perspective as to how this complaint is valid. WordPress Default promotes attitude of the industry that anyone who can read and type can design a website. This is simply not true, otherwise there would be an HTML file just to the right the visual tab in the WordPress editor. It is clear that as humans we tend to order more than we can digest, once we obtain enough knowledge to be dangerous. Anyone who expects to be the addition of rich media such as audio and video to your WordPress sites should also be prepared to get wet feet with at least one knowledge Basic HTML and CSS. I've seen discussions in the support forum mentioned that the issue is more suited to experienced developers. I do not entirely agree with this statement. If you use the theme templates as they are, without imagining all sorts of things you'd like to do, but do not have the knowledge to perform perfectly presentable professional website can be created by most users. However, the issue is a big time saver for those who understand CSS and a bit more daunting for those who need to review your CSS and HTML.
Of course, all the standard bells and whistles one would expect are present and accounted for in the functionality of the subject Remix. RSS Feeds, FeedBurner Subscribe by e-mail forms, share and markers, a search field at the site, testimonials and more. There are specialties unique pages offered for the presentation of tokens and the slider of the information. You will be hard to imagine much of what has been thought Remix. One last comment important with regard to this issue, Remix is the only issue that currently offers a "website" to "Blog". When you check out other issues you'll find that usually only have a "Landing / Home" and a page "blog". I have designed sites that use Remix that have been "de-blogged" independently websites. This capability alone should give even the most demanding potential customers a reason Remix to look a little more before you buy anything else.
Finally, the issue Remix has a support forum that is behind the product. I found the Forum a little different than most other forums. Seems to be the model after a private forum technical assistance opened a debate format, where each and everything is discussed. This never stopped me from getting answers to my questions on the subject. In fact, I see the response times of less than an hour, in many cases, when a question asked. I noticed that the moderator tactfully redirected to support the links unless you ask directly related to the topic, that is not expected support for the creation of Google Analytics forum Remix.
For those looking to reduce the design time of websites and the most bang of money, you might want to check out the Remix theme. It is election time and options and maybe a little more on the learning curve too. But for those who want learn a little CSS and HTML, the return on investment is worth the effort. Check it out Remix WordPress
