Insert Flash Video In WordPress Blog

There are many reasons why people want to add Flash video to your WordPress blog sites. Maybe they want to enter your website and products to your visitors, use as a training medium, show a webinar or simply show the new baby to distant relatives. Whatever reason, videos website are used more and more each day.

If you have a real estate agency which could be better than a stroll through tour of a property, a walk through a yacht broker if you are a visiting yacht or sports clubs, hotels, workshops or product is always possible customers to see.

You can hardly visit YouTube or Google Video to find a video about your hotel or club, you have to do your own video or have done for you. But let's not talk about hotels and sports clubs, let's talk about you and the program of electronic books or software that you want to encourage lots for we are right.

To get the Flash video running you have to download some files and prepare our site. So let's start now.

First step: Preparation of the site.

There are several plugins available to embed flash video on your website, some are better than others and some are easier to use. WP-FLV is one, is another WordTube Insert FLV is the one used here. Visit the site, read about the plugin and download it. Unpack the zip file and upload the folder WordPress plugins folder. Note: Do not change the folder names. You will also need the free, personal use, Flash Media Player from Jeroen Wijering. Download Player of the website, unzip it and upload only the file in the folder wordtube mediaplayer.swf. Activate the plugin.

Go to your administration area, then Options, Manage, WordTube to configure. You can use the default folder or change up to another as wp-content/videos. Also You can upload your files via Manage-Media Center. Note for videos, Flash Player displays a preview, therefore, it is also necessary to load an image (thumbnail) files. After uploading the video you can insert the tag (MEDIA = ID) in your message that you want the integrated Flash video to be displayed. ID is the number of video in the Media Centre. Make sure to use UPPER case will not work.
