Need for version control - SVN or GIT should I learn?

I know absolutely nothing about version control systems and the need to catch up speed quickly. So please give me the pros and cons and opinion that has the lowest learning curve. It is for Magento, Drupal and sites WordPress.

Git is that everything is moving because it is much better than SVN. Which has a high learning curve, but it is doable, especially since no have to unlearn bad habits SVN. Check out http://github.com/ for some of the high-profile projects (eg Apache, jQuery, Ruby, etc) already using Git. Other projects from the mainstream (eg Drupal, etc.) have expressed their intention to move to Git in the near future.
