how to create a landing page theme on a wordpress theme?

I want to create a landing page on my WordPress blog www.mysite.com, but I do not use any theme for the landing page.

I think you just answered your own question. If you want to make a page "on a wordpress theme, "you will be bound by the WordPress Software. Any of the pages or posts created automatically inherit the theme. You could go with a very minimalist, but then the whole place would be minimal. But here's something you can do. I do this all the time. Build your landing page as a separate page outside the scope of WordPress. Then, get a redirection plugin. I use quick post / redirect page. It creates a widget page editor for posts and pages. Then just set the redirect to point to your landing page. In this way gives the appearance that is a message or a page on your blog, but click the post title or page actually redirects to the landing page, where ever you decide put. Sounds like you might be an internet marketer. You can make your own themes with a WordPress theme builder. I've been doing my own songs since last summer and I will never again make an HTML site.
