4 quick and easy ways to build your online presence
My dad has a successful business. He did so without setting foot on the Internet. How done that?
By having a presence in its field.
You call your company, you get your cell phone. You want to talk with Sales Manager, you talk to him. You want to have a meeting with the production manager, you can pencil in some time between the other two meetings. Not that does not have dozens of skilled management jobs, but can not bear the thought of anyone else on behalf of your brand than him. I mean his name is on every box that is sent by the love of God.
To call this micromanagement is so stupid as an understatement to say Robin Williams is "a little straw ", but it is a point, my dad is present. It is everywhere, and on the Internet is everywhere is equally important.
If you are like my father but you do not have the time to be everywhere in the real world and virtual world, but there are some things (besides having a website) can be configured to ensure that at least have some sort of online presence and manage communication with their clients:
Email Marketing
No, this is not spam, and is not spam. It is a means to get their voice to all your customers about anything from sales, promotions, news or events that may be happening. There are many programs available to facilitate this process and help non-tech-savvy professionals managing mailing lists, create newsletters, and set offers for particular sets of customers. Great products to try include: Constant Contact, MailChimp, and iContact.
Social Media
I know you've heard before, but in reality, it is necessary to have a presence here. No matter what you sell flash, every company must have some kind of presence within the mainstream media portals media. These sites are Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Social media is how to maintain a more interactive contact with customers and clients and provides access to an impromptu focus group of customers and clients. His accounts of social media will create a space for feedback (both good and bad) in your company, thereby creating a means for measuring customer sentiment, a very valuable marketing tool for any company. Other social networking sites may be relevant to your business (or tumblr flickr for photos or SlideShare to share PowerPoint presentations and seminars) and should be considered necessary.
Blogging
For the uninitiated, a blog is a means of publishing their ideas, thoughts, photos, and all you have your brain spinning. In fact, you're reading a blog now! Think of it as an online bulletin board is an arm of its website (a blog about how any Joe Shmo can add a WordPress account your site to come soon). Blogs are a great way to show the world of business ethics, philosophy and lifestyle. Share your blogs through its media platform social communication and monitor traffic to their websites grow. Add videos found and created from YouTube (see below) and gather even more traffic. If you really 're looking to put on your website traffic, look into hiring a search engine optimization or SEO professional to optimize your web presence.
YouTube
The Internet is much more than text and images, is all that conversation and more video. I know what your thinking: "Make a video is a time, difficult process that requires hours.'s Dedication and focus," Well out of his Black Maria, Thomas Edison, my smartphone $ 99 images you can create decent, watchable and can be edited with the free software is so fun and easy used as a PowerPoint (if you have a Mac, you already have iMovie and ready to go). Making the video of your business environment of special work, or how to create a product superior. What about a video on how to solve some of its biggest customer problems? What about a video of the latest work-out / Event and the team spent? Once you've filmed and edited the footage larger, simply post on their social networking sites and share through your list e-mail! You just created a viral advertising. Now, it was so quick and easy?
