Most of us probably are not able to throw caution to the wind when it comes to our marketing budget. Most of us want our marketing programs and strategies to work right the first time I try, as we know, is always a gamble. Mailings are not what they used to be. What it does mean is that you are willing to share enough about yourself and your system values to build a level of trust with your local community that is unparalleled. Setting up your online accounts may take a little time, but worth the investment.
Here are the initial accounts recommend for faster results and more sustainable:

• Use FriendFeed to link everything together. Lazos FriendFeed all your accounts together. Once you are connected to their FriendFeed accounts, you will notice that when you make a blog, it automatically appears on Facebook Twitter, Squidoo and many other sites. This is another great lesson of automation. After completing this step your blog becomes the center hub of all information want to share.
· Squidoo is important because it serves as another "website" about you and your business. You can link Twitter Facebook and a blog to your Squidoo page for additional content and backlinking.
Scribd is a site · little strange pulling a large force. Turn all your marketing materials online printing material that works in your favor. Anything you have in your marketing arsenal that can be scanned or uploaded to Scribd worth taking the time to load. When you place a document on Scribd, make sure the title the same way as a blog, make sure your business (Elder care, home care, etc.) and location (St. Louis, MO) is in the title or the title area.
MerchantCircle ·-one of my current favorites! This group has done a good job of creating a system that will call your attention to search engines FAST. Open a free account. You owe it to the community to tell stories on. Who knows how many other people who could help in the way!
In short, now is the time. In fact, the time was a year ago, but not too late to start building an online presence. In the future, this cost-effective way of marketing will save you thousands of dollars in marketing costs drive. Companies that do not have a social media strategy or work plan in place now, most likely fall behind Q3 or Q4 this year. I can think of few more expensive things than having to catch up, especially in the category of social media. You can not "buy" relationships in the social web.
