How I can change my WordPress blog site theme / template for a WordPress theme to values found online?

I need a very simple step, step by step, non-response computer jargon, please! Thanks!

Henry, this is not a very easy question to answer since there are many ways to install a new theme. First, if your blog is hosted on wordpress.com address, then simply change the topics installed. If you are hosting your own installation of WordPress, then without having to use an FTP client (which can get tricky), most hosting services have a built in file manager system. Not knowing what host is (I'm HostMonster), you can try checking your best responses support forum or a service call. But here are the basics: You will need to navigate to the public_html folder of your server. This is probably the first folder or root of your site is installed in. You have to find the particular folder that your site is installed on, if you have multiple sites on one account. If not, look for wp-content folder and open it. You will then see "plugins", "themes" and a couple of other files / folders. The theme is installed on "Themes" folder. There are already two topics on a base installation of wordpress, "default" and "classic." This is where you want to install her new song (s). After your items are placed in this folder, log into your WordPress site, go to the "Submission", click "Themes" and scroll down and select the theme you want to activate. That's it! Just be aware that some issues do not get along with some improvements or versions of wordpress. And some plug-ins can also cause problems.
