Why is it so hard to find a simple and practical device wordpress newsletter plugin?

Hello, I have a wordpress website. I want my visitors to subscribe to a newsletter mailing list. I want a widget on the right sidebar (my theme is compatible with fine players) that has a name field and email field. time of presentation to be stored. I do not seem much to ask, but when I search for my part, many of them are very, very old and outdated. Does anyone know of a plugin to do this for me really works? Maybe some of you currently use one and suggest it can. Thanks
