The views on moving my wordpress static site?

Hi, I have a website that is # 1 in Google for some of my words, and some are the first and second page. I can make a fair income from this site. My question is, I really want to move WordPress site with a new design. I think working in WP much easier and I know I would update more and work on it if in WP. I also believe that the appearance of WP SEO benefit my other keywords. My plan is to use the same meta tags and the same top-ranked content for my pages. I'm a little nervous about moving, but I think I will benefit in the long term. But since it is doing very well with Adsense, I'm a little nervous. So I guess I am looking for opinions before taking the plunge! We welcome any information

Before making the change permanent, I would start making the WP site at your own directory, now before migrating. You really need to pay attention to how to do this as something completely new range will not maintain current page.
