WordPress SEO - Are you using WordPress a plus for SEO purposes

I have heard that "Google wants to WordPress" and therefore, WordPress SEO is easier than for static sites. I do not think this is true, as we have seen many times that Google is displaying the most relevant content for its users. That just makes no sense to think that they favor one site over another, simply because of the platform is.

Having said that WordPress SEO (And blogs in general) has some advantages over static sites, so in that sense WordPress SEO is easier:

Blogs in general

Most web sites are WordPress blogs or sites like a blog (though it need not be a blog) and the central point of blogging is to publish regularly. Search engines favor sites that are updated regularly to WordPress SEO has an advantage.

Ease of Update (No technical knowledge required)

Static sites can be difficult to upgrade and maintain, but WordPress is very easy and does not need knowledge is technical. This means that a WordPress site is more likely to be regularly updated, which is another advantage of WordPress SEO.
