Why are advertisements that appear on my wordpress blog?

I registered with Addsense but so far I have not put any ads on the blog so I'm surprised to see the ads. (See the link to see the type of ads that appear). Could it be put ads wordpress themselves or is it because I checked in Addsense even though I had not added any ads yet? pulse360 http://wp.me/p12QNd-2A ads but says never signed pulse360
