What do you think Obama's new plans for the space?

Obama canceled the Constellation program and set some goals, like landing on asteroids (Ceres, perhaps?) and a trip to Mars. This is the crux of the matter * NASA will begin construction of a heavy launch vehicle by 2015 * crewed test flights beyond low earth orbit land by the early 2020 * manned mission to a near-Earth asteroid in 2025 * Mars missions in the 2030s this would depend on companies private space and Russia, as there will be shuttle service. He has a strong support and strong opposition. Neil Armstrong is against the new program saying that will kill jobs. People like Louis Friedman, Planetary Society thinks it's a step in the right direction and important to push deeper into space. But nevermind them, what do you think?

Sounds interesting. At least not deleted the program all together. So it is promising. Yes there will be loss of jobs, of course, rumors of that. It sounds great and yet so far away to see any of the final results of its plans for an all I can say, well ok. There really is not much to say.
