How do I make my public blog?

I just created a WordPress blog on high, and set in Settings> Privacy as: "I would like my site is visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, MSN, Technorati) and archivers". But I tried Google and does not appear at all. My other blog about 50 visits a day, and this since its inception, not one ... as if it was private. Any ideas?
