Editing WordPress footer?

I have to change a footnote WP theme because it has a spelling mistake, the problem is that I do not know where to edit. The footer.php in the editor only gives me

I'm not sure that the text is. This is not my site and I only ask that you edit, so I do not know how it happened, the owner had someone working it before, but could not reach him. Thank You

Probably not looking very likely at the site: The site is designed using the theme Genesis by StudioPress. If that is the case, the hooks can be updated directly from the control panel. Look at the issue of configuration and control panel, or along the column left and find the source selection. You should be able to change parts of the header, sidebar, footer etc ....
