Best Screenplay Video and photo blog?

I am looking for the best photo and video blog script. I need something that is not filled features and over, something very easy for me and my family (who are not able to super PC) to upload photos and videos of my daughter and also add some comments. I want something that will reduce the image size automatically so that the site loads slowly and is something that allows me to easily integrate video clips local. I know Flickr and other image hosting sites but I'd rather have something I can control my own domain. I'm leaning towards wordpress because there are many plugins to use, but if anyone knows anything please let me know. Thanks
