WordPress Plugins - they do improve your WordPress blog?

WordPress is a very simple blogging platform, but to make them look more professional and to operate more efficiently themes and plugins are essential.

Basically a theme is what makes your blog look the way it makes, plugins do over many of the functions behind the subject. Think of the theme as the exterior of your car, WordPress itself as the engine with plugins for things like lights, indicators, warning lights etc are good to have but not essential to run the car engine. I am not a mechanic, but you get the idea.

I guess the simplest explanation is that they are a bit of code that make things easier to do, or lets you do things without the plugin in particular are very difficult to do and beyond the capabilities of anyone other than a person with a technical knowledge of WordPress.

These are just some of the many plugins that you can use on your blog and it all depends what you want your blog to do what you need to install plugins to work more efficiently and save extra time maintaining your blog.
