WordPress Plugins Analytics

Is the Google Analytics plugin for WordPress automatically inserts the code when the string is given the AU?
I am very new to using plugins WordPress. One of them is Google Analytics, and when I tried to turn, requested a UA string. So I signed up for Google Analytics and got the chain and entered into the box again in WordPress. What I wonder is if you still have to insert the html code of the template or if its done automatically for me?
Without knowing exactly what Analytics plugin you used, can not be sure here, but you can in 2 ways. 1) If you just called AU for the chain, then it should automatically insert. 2) Check your blog when you're not logged in admin. Check the source view and search the code of the AU in the page. Google Analytics also must confirm that the code is working at seeing their statistics the next day.
