Backing up your contacts online for free

Sometimes we talked again about how to back up our contacts through PC synchronization, we now have a post about Nokia backup phone contacts online for free from Nokia OVI.

To start synchronization, complete the following steps on your device:

Go to the menu, select Open Settings icon and open "Backup and Sync" menu on the open list

To synchronize, follow these steps on your device:

Ovi open contacts or other support application synchronization. Open Ovi tab and select "Sync" menu

If your phone can not receive an SMS from Ovi, you can manually create, configure and activate your timing S40 profile.

To create the profile, select "Menu" then "Options."
Open the "Settings" icon, then "Personal configuration settings".
Go to "Options" and select "Add New".
"Types of application" view, select "Access Point" and then return to "personal accounts".
Go to "Options" and select "Add New".
"Types of application" view, select "sync". Do not copy the values other profiles.
To set the "Sync" profile, type the details:

5. Contacts database: select, then "Database management", and type:. / Contact / archive then return to the "synchronization."
6. Calendar database: select, then "Database management" and type:. / EventTask / Tasks then return to the "synchronization."
7. Notes database: select, then "Address database" and type:. / Note / Unfiled then return to the "synchronization."
8. Use pref. Pto Accessed. "Yes", then return to "personal accounts".
To activate, select "Point Access ", then" Options ", then" Enable ".
Select the new "sync" profile.
Select "Options" and select "Enable".
