I am radical reform of my old blog. The new structure / design is sitting in what I call MyTestSite.Com. Now I understand that the export / import of data is relatively simple: export the entire contents of MyTestSite Administration - Tools and import it into my blog original? What I am sure if it is: Should I clear my old database before exiting the export / import as much of the information will redundant and a number of new categories. Or the performance of export / import to do that for me? Should I can download a copy of the template I'm changing, putting my new design or the performance of export / import do everything for me. What do I need to see the online links, etc. Any other pieces of advice? Kevin

Import / export function is precisely that imports or exports. Nothing more and nothing less. So if you want to make a cleanupp, do so before exporting.Keep an original copy of the database before cleaning as well. And if I remember correctly, once the export / Import, you still have to establish the categories and move the messages in the new cats - when you move everything that comes in Uncategorized. It has long been since I've done, so it could be mistaken there. You have to take care of the template as you would normally.
