How you approach the site below to convert a html web page wordpress site?

I recently created a joomla template with the column the right with joomla code a cause of news that had a website html, with over 500 pages and wanted to allow an administrator to update it.Now I'm thinking of converting the whole site to wordpress the server time to update the joomla and everything that happens on the page. I read your question a few times and do not think I quite understand what you mean by "the server takes a while to update the joomla and all that happens on the page." Are you saying that you are taking a while 500 turn static HTML pages to Joomla articles? What makes you think that the WordPress process will be faster? WordPress Conversion to be similar to the conversion to Joomla - I would have to design a WordPress theme, similar how you created a Joomla template and then copy and paste HTML pages WordPress individual posts / pages.
