WordPress costs question please help?

There have been no wordpress yet, because I do not want to waste my time. I have to carry tons of videos and sounds like it costs money to buy more storage space. It also seems as if just and dime you for new topics. What does it cost to get a custom domain name? If you know of a blog that offers unlimited storage and user-friendly interface is highly customizable please tell me. Thanks
