How to market a WordPress plug-in?

I have written a plug-in for WordPress that would be very useful for people with or who are launching a membership site (the idea was a client of mine) and I try to market and sell it. I have a website and the domain set by the plug-in and used a sales force to create a sales page, with some sales text, a video showing how the plug-in that works and then "Buy Now" button PayPal. The functional part is done and ready to go. But the truth is ... I'm really a programmer and have no marketing idea. I'm sitting here with a sales page think "So ... what do I do now?" Since I'm pretty sure the businessmen have done! So I guess what I'm asking for is some basic steps to market something like this. In fact, the marketing advice for a newbie would be appreciated.
