WordPress Theme Tutorial
WordPress is the system most popular content management (CMS) today and its popularity continues to grow. It is easy learn and easy to use. And best of all you can change the way your site looks like changing the subject - it only takes less than a minute.
Topics may come in many categories. You have issues blog car issues , Items "> flash themes, themes of newspapers, magazine issues, etc. Each has a set of elements as well such as a slide show, animation, slideshow, or may come as a simple no frills theme.
And as beyond their subject, sometimes I like to have your own look and feeling that other sites lack. Or you hire someone who can develop a WordPress theme for you or you have to learn this on your own.
If you choose the latter and do not know where to start, here are some suggestions to get you started.
1. Learn HTML. This is the basic backbone WordPress. And the good thing is that you do not have to learn all the HTML tags and syntax. Just learn the basic tags that make up a basic web page.
2. Learn CSS. Cascading Style Sheet - or CSS - works hand in hand with HTML HTML.Tags up their website and these tags have attributes that is individual, color, width, etc. You can define these attributes in a CSS file to give greater efficiency in the future. How is this done? We will have the paragraph tag, for example. Let you want the text to be black. And so contructed their websites with all these paragraph tags that have the black color attribute. But what if in the future would like to change the color to dark gray? Without CSS you'd have to go to all their websites and check the color of the paragraph tag and made it dark gray. With CSS, just to go to a file and change one line of code and you're done!
3. Installing WordPress on your computer. This is not necessary but it is nice to have. This will can practice on your computer and then when you're happy with your item, you can upload it to your actual website. This saves a lot of headaches if they made some mistakes its subject.
4. Wth work existing WordPress theme. It would be very ambitious to create your own theme from scratch. But the best way to learn to create a theme is to modify existing one. Choose a topic that has only the bare structure of WordPress themes. There are about a dozen topics available on the Internet that are selected as the theme this.once you want to work, start to modify small sections of the theme color of the source, ie and sizes.
5. Practice makes perfect. And as you continue practice of personalizing the issues, understand how everyting else falls into place. Once the whole picture so that's the time you can create your own theme from scratch. But doing this is not the best way. Why? That's because it is a waste of time. If you can get a simple theme, the basic structure in place, Why reinvent the wheel?
These are the basic steps on how to start creating your own theme. It's also good to find an online tutorial will guide you to perform these steps more efficient.
