Of course there is.

WordPress themes are based on the same basic code as any html template. You only need to know where that code is ...

How to convert HTML to WordPress:

WordPress themes are divided into different php files. header. content. sidebar. footer. Take a look at a current wordpress theme to unravel the mystery. Websites start at the index page what we're going to start there and follow the code through. The first is called the header.php index.php. This is where tags html tags, title and meta, title site or logo and the navigation is going. You should then see the php code for the content or the "loop", as it is called WordPress. Also may see calls for the sidebar.php and footer.php. Look inside and you'll see the files the code that generates these areas.

Notice the 'div' tags elements are placed on the page. HTML is built mainly with div tags instead of tables. Most of the div is assigned a CSS style with a label (selector). Lables can be an ID (#) or class (.) These styles are defined in another file called style.css. Take a look and style that matches the CSS for the div tag consistent.

Those with experience in HTML or some serious common sense you can copy and paste the HTML code in a basic theme of WordPress. For each tag with a div tag also add that the style in style.css. By converting the HTML to wordpress, a good method is to carefully wrap the php code between the div tags. Make sure all the opening div tag an endgame / div tag. If you lose, double check the source code in a browser ... div tags could be opened in the header.php and footer.php close in

Once the techie material in place, do not forget semantics.

If I can make WordPress, I lose my page rank and traffic today? Before moving any well-established web site, have 301 redirects ready to go for when the new site goes live. Even if you create the same page, WordPress will create URL different than your current site is at the moment. Redirects to point the search engines from the old page to the new page, letting you know that a motion has been made. Search engines are therefore, for conversion is completed shortly and not by the loss of traffic. Building the site in a temporary location, create your redirects and move all your domain at a time.

If you're not very good with Web code, a professional designer or web developer should be able to convert your html to wordpress so you can spend your valuable time doing what makes your site more successful, as the creation of content!
