Create projects faster with an existing framework
Well, to continue the geek tools, the concept of development of things from nothing, in fact, is a developer's natural instinct. The first reaction of most developers have when they land a new job is: "Well I can finally build something the way I want I could do this from the beginning I could build! .. all from the basement to the roof. "And then click" File-> New Project "in its development environment.
However, there is a problem with this.
The construction of a project from scratch is almost always a mistake. It is always a bad idea.
Why? Here is a list of reasons why it is best to start with a platform exists.
If you are planning to develop something at any time online, there are many tools available for to begin with. Think for example on a platform like Joomla! - A content management system that has a system of user account management, robust content management, development of system components and a template engine in place. It has all these things, just right in the box that you can work with that gives a programming interface to develop real specific component that his client may need.
There are a variety of these and the trick is to find out what is most appropriate. So for understand these things online, you have to use things as a system of open source and PHP - WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, or if you want to go to a lower level, you have Kohana and CodeIgniter. There are also some proprietary platforms more like ASP.NET and Java tools.
The most important consideration for the will of be "What is the simplest thing to get up, run as fast as possible." So if you have a single platform, all you need to do is sell an affiliate product. - A downloadable e-book or something that goes in that direction. Probably, his best friend would be something like WordPress that allows you to quickly generate some of the documents and create search engine optimized (SEO) content very easily as you put the thing in minutes.
If you need something a little higher level, it is necessary to create a sales planning system. However, you may want to look into something like Joomla! where you can have a component that can tie into the website, as it manages all its users and the system of identification and "You know I forgot my password 'and all that the types of animals.
If you want to go somewhat lower level, for example, you want to build a comprehensive educational system dedicated to a multi-user group that could be used anywhere in North America. You may want to look at something closer to the Kohana Codeigniter or where you are given the layer just above the database and must create the database tables and model how they interrelate. Moreover, you have data access control layer, and above that you have your template system. So what is really developing in the middle here. You are building this system of business logic that links the interaction among the users of the database. It gives an immense mouth of flexibility without having to go through the development of custom database system access.
Anyway, just keep in mind that every time you pick up new projects, ensure that the development on top of an existing platform. Do not try to do something from scratch, because you will end up creating another job.
Although not really a good emphasis in which each of the above systems have been used in hundreds of thousands of different sites, both in terms of content sites and participate only in the straight web application development, as they have been fully debugged.
Please note, you can build something that is much, much faster with the use of code another person to start and build their platform on top of it and you can stand with the shoulders of giants. It makes life much easier if going to build it yourself from scratch.
