WordPress Installation Directory
My public_html folder disappeared ... help?
Well, I'm new to web design and I messed up my folders. I want to install a phpbb forum with fantastic in a page that already had a WordPress blog, so delete the blog and tried to install the forum. There was an error due to the previous installation, so I had the bright idea of copying the files in my public html folder and then put them back .. not copied, so I took the whole folder and copied it, thinking that just create a new one when I installed the forum. He said it was successful, but also has an error and now when I go to the page only shows the personalized home page, and when I try to reinstall phpbb it says it can not because it is already installed .. but not on my list of fantastic facilities and when I go to my directory folders to delete theres no folder manually all public html. I tried to overwrite my old public html folder, but I can not put it back because I said that already exists. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
Hahaha poor you. Contact your hosting provider and ask them to make a clean return. If you're with or BlueHost HostMonster be careful of him. If you use an FTP program like Filezilla, you can return to previous editions of your website. VERY I recommend something like this for Tim
