WordPress Index.php Hacked

How to stop your website being hacked
Website Hacking (cracking) is a widespread phenomenon - if not a victim yet, then is only a matter of time. This article discusses a few examples of victims of cookie.
I imagine that every webmaster should have been the victim of a malicious cracker attack at least once in your life online.
I have been on the receiving end of such unwanted attention on two occasions in the past. The first time was in 2005 after most of the Mambo developers left to join the Joomla - I think maybe was not the only person to go and continued with Mambo CMS. A few months a group of Turkish cyber vandals defaced the site - and if they get into a place in a directory, then riot in the lot.
A few months ago I feel victimized an injection attack link. I realized that more or less as was happening in the offender left quite cheeky links at the foot of my sites. That was a nuisance, but I sorted the problem after a few hours.
In the latter case, I think it was because of an outdated script WordPress - cookies that get into a security breach known in a popular CMS or blogging platform.
I've even heard of an attack in which a cracker slipped on the site of the victims and then deleted everything - including backup.
This is one reason that back to my whole directory at least once a week and then download the lot in my own hard drive.
During the invasion of Iraq in 2003, there were a number of websites are divided into the slogans for or against the war, then left on their website.
Link to injection, instead of disfigurement, is another form of abuse of cookies.
The vast majority of webmasters and SEO practitioners acquire their links entrants in an honest, but because the sums of money available to achieve the number one spot for certain keywords (Viagra and porn for two) nasty people cracks have been illicitly open websites and the inclusion of criminal links with this method.
Crack open a website to insert links is a big problem through the World Wide Web - this is not even blackhat SEO, SEO is criminal!
It is not always easy to spot when your site has been on the receiving end of an attack injection link as a smart cookie hide your links.
The other day I was looking at the site of some web design companies and agencies closely. I was looking at the pages indexed by Google BrightCherry.co.uk and I noticed the pages of Honda car parts listed.
Links like this:
That's odd for a web design site, I thought.
Clicking on these links and I then redirected to hardcore porn sites.
It was obvious that had been broken open and an investigation BrightCherry your code confirmed this - there was a lot links in HTML code, but hidden to the naked eye by the CSS property display.
In this case it seems that the website was attacked handcoded with PHP instead of relying on a CMS script.
I was surprised however, that the site still had a PageRank 5 web sites and crevices are penalized by Google fast enough - must have occurred recently.
I emailed the webmaster to inform them of the issues.
So you should closely monitor their websites. Constantly check your Google Webmaster Console as it will tell you that if you join dodgy sites and do everything possible to keep their blogs or CMS script to date with the latest security updates.
