Some useful tips to start your WordPress blog
Installing WordPress is easy and only 5 minutes work, but then installation is more, there are other things you have to do, if you want maximum performance from your blog. If you follow these tips from WordPress as a list then surely go on a track. These tips are very useful for WordPress for starting a new blog.
Organize your authors and modify the administrator password
When you start working with WordPress, you are assigned a password, which apparently they never can remember. Therefore, change the password to something that I can remember. Go to the User Panel and customize settings, here you can also add other bloggers.
Change the Permalinks
The default URL of the items listed as www. Yourname. com /? p = 243. This is a bad URL structure and have no meaning to readers. You can change the URL and include the keyword blog entries in the URL. This is a good structure for SEO and readers will thank you. Do the following to change your permalinks:
• Click on Settings and then click on permalinks
• Go to "Common Settings" and then click on "structure common "
• Type the name of%% of the messages / in the specific area
• Or you can add the category in the URL as:
