How much should you charge for freelance web design?

I work full time as a web (as an employee of the company) and my friend's brother-in-law asked me only to design a website for your company in my spare time. He has offered to pay for this, but I'm not sure how much to ask, since I have not made any payment for freelance work before. He already has a website that was designed by a local web design company a few years ago and it looks pretty good, but he has to pay each time you want the text changed. So he asked me to create a new site with a content management system (I'm using WordPress as I'm more familiar with that). The current site has 11 pages. Does anyone have any suggestions on the amount of charge? Although I'm pretty close to my friend (who I have been her friend since high school), all you really see his brother in law about 3 or 4 times a year.

Since you know the type, I suggest you ask that you pay a reasonable fee based on what they pay the designers of age .. If you intend to do this as more than a hobby, you must carry at least twice what they pay (per hour) for your current employer ...
