How I can copy a wordpress theme that someone is using in your WordPress blog?
I'm about to create a WordPress Blog, and I'm trying to copy someones theme you have in your WordPress blog. I know there are programs that can be used to simply copy websites to your computer (like WinHTTrack) What is the best copy someones wordpress theme they are using? For example .... I copied the following: http://mattbrett.com
Since the pages are generated by WordPress, PHP and a database are not static HTML pages, copy someone's design is really a daunting task that requires a working knowledge PHP. Many issues, many of WordPress are free, but there is nothing anyone of what the subject of her own and not share. mattbrett.com is the website of a professional graphic designer, and part of his business involves selling website designs - customers get a site that is unique to them (instead of being one of the many sites, many of WordPress the same 4-5 topics). It seems that freedom was made available http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/1-column/7/back-in-black-11/ issue largely has greatly changed. I draw to see the HTML source code generated on the main page by right-clicking on an area free of the page and select "View Source" (name Specifications vary depending on browser). You can look through the HTML code and see what calls the "black round" style sheet. Perhaps only the same name as the existing theme, but it seems that's probably where it started. You can look through the HTML code to see how the format works, how is organized and you can see the files. CSS style information see (colors, fonts, etc, etc), but you can not import them into the WordPress theme editor in the area Management blog. Assuming an import to work (probably not), you would see your page with your entries, because its subject is simply to show Static HTML, not content to record from your database and the generation of pages. Look through the "head" or "main index template" theme page, and you will see more than just html - you'll see a lot of " php" etiquetas - este es el código PHP. Si usted is decent with PHP and CSS (and some javascript) and understand how the "circle" in WordPress works, could make a site that looks like yours, but that's a lot of pre-requisites. And although this is not very popular among open source crowd has every right to claim copyright in its design (which was their time and their livelihood depends on successful web design). I doubt anyone would care if there was a place that was a copy of your design, but I would say not the best place to start, especially because it might be the only expert in the design, and it is doubtful that helps. But, if used in many of the themes free WordPress can be downloaded as an official "theme". Zip files with PHP, CSS, etc, you will find people willing to help line if you run into no option of trying to adapt to your site. My recommendation: Look through the many free WordPress themes http://themes.wordpress.net/. Find one you like, read a little about CSS, then adjust the design until it is given the look you want. Convert HTML code generated from the PHP page will be functional mattbrett.com more work than you probably want to treat, especially considering how many good songs, free.
