How to Build Backlinks via Google Alerts
I am a member of many online forums. Most of these forums have to do with the online marketing and site promotion. Recently, I found a post of Ken Evoy's SBI forum that truly caught my attention.
A social community for Webmasters!
Basically, it describes how to use Google Alerts to build his retreat. Now for those not familiar with Google Alerts a little explanation is probably necessary.
Google Alerts
Google Alerts is a free program run by Google that lets you track any issue on the web. Select your "keywords" or "URL" and Google will notify you by email whenever links / content that contains your themes selected appear anywhere on the web.
It is a great way to stay informed of your domain name. It is also perfect to keep with the latest information in your niche or niches. It is also a good way to find out what others are saying about you or your site.
For example, if you have a site on "antique cars" then you create a Google Alert for those keywords. Google will notify you by e-mail whenever a new link / Content-related keywords appear on the web.
This is a great way to stay informed in place, but also a valuable source of potential linking partners. Many of these links are blogs that allow comments with a link to your site.
Google Alerts, you'll probably send links 10.20 each day, depending on the popularity of your chosen keywords. Just go to these blogs / links and see if you can leave a comment with some valuable information to what has been discussed.
No spam
Please Note: Do not spam, there are intelligent people behind most of these blogs, and will recognize keyword spam when they see it. Your main goal should be getting targeted traffic back to your site and any link PR should be secondary. Always put the reader or viewer first, especially if it is in someone else's site. Do not talk about your site or your marketing - just join the conversation and add your comments / Opinions / suggestions ...
Get search engine rankings that you can be proud of!
Improve your site and you'll be rewarded with traffic and a link. But still have to maintain their interest in the equation! You have to make sure you get your targeted keywords in the anchor text.
Keyword Market
First, if you've done your homework, your main keywords should already be in your domain name or URL. Another way is to add to your "words key "+" guide "for your signature or signature. Such as: Name, Your Guide to Antique Cars. If you are an expert in your particular niche, many webmasters kindly welcomes your comments and links.
Since your main goal is traffic, many webmasters do not worry if there is no "follow" attribute attached to the relationship, but if you're worried about this -. one way is to look at the source code to see if the "no follow" tag that usually copy the complete source code. page to my text editor and then do a simple "no follow" search.
Do not follow
Also There is a great little free utility called comment "Comment Kahuna" co-created by Jason Potash to search blogs and tell you if you have "no follow" attribute or not, but also give you the PageRank of each post. If you are going to use blogs as a source of your backlinks, I suggest you try Comment Kahuna - that will make task much easier and is free.
In fact, while the "no follow" issue may be a concern for some webmasters, the the connoisseurs realize these are links / sites Google is actively indexing and crawling, otherwise not receive the alert in the first place. You must get your links in this mixture the whole relationship, relevant sites to help boost your rankings. I also remember the other search engines can not even consider the "no-follow" label.
Trackbacks
Similarly, linkages are another way of linking relevant content. Keep in mind, a trackback is simply recognition via a ping signal that is sent from Site A (transmitter) to Site B (receptor). Then the receptor often places a link to a site showing their worth.
Forget Expensive PPC Advertising - There is an alternative!
Other bind options
Since we are on the topic of construction link, another useful way to build backlinks is to use Google Search or Google Blog Search. Now if you are looking for niche-related blogs just type:
"(Words)" "Powered by (blog scripts)"
For example, if you are looking for a bit of "antique cars" related links on WordPress blogs should be sought by:
"Vintage cars" "powered by wordpress"
And Google will give a complete list of sites on antique cars.
Now if you want to find links that allow comments, just repeat the Google search with:
"Vintage cars" "powered by wordpress" "leave a comment" - "no comment"
Remember that the "-" means posts without comments are not shown.
If you're concerned with PageRank, number of backlinks, Alexa Ranking ... in certain posts may download and install the plugin SEOQuake. This handy SEO plugin can be connected to your browser and give you information SEO useful on the link or links you're viewing.
Just remember, finding quality backlinks is probably the most tedious for most webmasters. That takes time and be patient. By using Google Alerts you can have relevant keyword links related emailed every day. Use this information to help build backlinks in a corresponding niche related. Doing this consistently for a period of time and your site will get noticed and ranked higher.
