WordPress / MyBB Database Encryption

Does anyone know if is possible to configure WordPress / MyBB so that the data placed in the database is not encrypted? Any plugins / modding / guides / tutorials will help you! =] I'm talking about passwords, I would like to set it to sleep encrypt passwords that are entered in the database.
