Help creating anchor tags please?

I want to link some stuff on my blog (on wordpress) so go to a certain part of the page etc. .. I created an anchor tag, which I use in my regular web pages that works well. But when I create anchor tags and saved it and preview it all the rest disappeared and all my texts are almost one. what's up with that? How I can fix it? Is there an online editor that can editing blog entries with the addition of anchor tags and stuff? please someone help me! Thank you sooo much!
