How to edit footer in a WordPress blog?

WordPress auto blog and I have wanted to add a privacy policy the bottom of the page, and I can not figure how to do ... I do not know any php so a simple explanation or guidance would be greatly appreciated ...

Hello Sgt. Stiglitz, The easiest way is to add the necessary HTML code to a text widget in the footer of your WordPress website. 1. Go to Appearance -> Widgets (when connected to wp-admin) 2. Add a 'Text' widget to the footer " Flash area (if over an area of flash footer then add the text widget to any of the flash areas footer) 3. Add the following to the area large text widget's text:

href = "http://YOUR-URL.com/YOUR-PRIVACY-POLICY-LINK/"> Privacy Policy
