Remove the HTML Help online?

Hello I have a wordpress theme I ClassiPress 3.0 and delete the text subcategories. I have a tutorial http://wpclassipress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2873 But I do not understand what it means to remove or how. A user of the forum said I have to comment this line in HTML. I found the line, but what I remove the line / / if you want to delete the text there are no categories, just uncomment the following line / / $ Subcategories = str_replace ('

$','', Subcategories) / / print all the subcategories for the current primary cat / / echo $ subcategory; Thanks

From the line beginning with $ Subcategories remove the "/ /" at the front. "/ /" Is used to refer to a comment single line.
