how to create permanent links on the website with dynamic pages generated by PHP and MySQL?

I did some google research, and I fully confused, not really know what is the best way, there are only so many tools, I do not know where to start, can someone just released the name of the tool (program code list, language, anything) or any link, so I know what to look for. My search usually returns techniques blogging (automated, say that WordPress), but how do I for my own site written from scratch with data taken from the PHP MySQL database (better if it is not necessary configuring the server, if possible, because there is no access to the configuration of my server). Qid = clients and (etc). the url to appear: www.domainname.com / search / Clients

If you want to do from the beginning you need to read this tutorial. In http://w3schools.com/php/default.asp the left side you can see the part that says "PHP database" Second response --------------------- You need a tutorial on "mod-rewrite" . Google search is not a lot of tutorial about this
