How to do this in WordPress 3.0?

I have a problem with creating wordpress page template. I created an inside page, product.php of my subject. And then in wordpress dashboard I created a page called product then in the dropdown menu template, I choose my product. When I Product page will not display anything. The code page of the product is /*
Template Nombre: mi producto * / / / En esta parte, me pega page.php code. This is a comment. > Please help.

Hi Mark, a PHP blank page usually indicates an error in the PHP code and usually is a missing semicolon. In cases like this is easier to debug using a code editor with syntax highlighting. Notepad + + is a code editor PHP supports free. There are probably other free editors around. What is sought are missing semicolons, braces unprecedented and unmatched delimiters PHP. You mentioned you pasted the code for page.php. Depending on the structure of your file, you'll want to make sure that did not include PHP delimiters ( ) With this code, since they already exist on the page-product.php. Good luck.
