5 Important Rules in Website Design

For your blog or website, the notice should take special attention to every detail to make sure it works optimally in order to serve its purpose. Here I will discuss seven basic rules of thumb for the positive practice of any site to work.

1) Do not use splash pages

Splash web pages are web pages first thing you see once you get to a site. I normally use a very elegant picture with words like "welcome" or "click here to enter." Indeed, they are just that - pretty vases with no real target. Do not let your target clients have an excuse to click on the "back" button! 2) Do not hire advertising banners too

People at least have experienced web educated themselves to ignore advertisements the flag so you be misusing valuable web property. Instead, provide more valuable content plus weave affiliate links on your content and let your visitors they want to buy rather than get encouraged to buy.

3) Use a simple and clear navigation

You must provide an easy navigation menu and easy for even a toddler knows how to put it to use. Stay away from the resort based Flash menus or menus at multiple levels down. If site visitors do not know how to navigate, they will leave your website.

4) Have a clear signal of where the user

When customers are deeply immersed in the surf around your site, you should make sure they understand that the section of the site is where seconds. This way, they are able to browse relevant information or access to any section of your website without effort. Do not confuse your visitors because confusion means simply "Abandon ship"!

5) Stay away from using audio on your website

If the visitor intends to stay long time on your website, read the articles, you should make sure that you are not annoyed by some audio looping on the site. If you insist on adding audio, make sure they have some control over it - volume or muting to work well.
