wordpress domain name hosting
WordPress Blog How to get a separate URL?

I have two or three different blogs hosted WordPress based on a single account. Now I have several domain names and a series and have already installed WP blogs in separate folders via FTP. But what I have to know how to make the domain point URL directly into the blog without having to move the files in the root directory. If the domain name is 123blog.com, I want you to go straight to the blog instead of having 123blog.com/blog / In the URL.

You can have as many WordPress blogs installed on a hosting account you want, provided they are installed in separate folders and have other databases SQL installed for each WordPress blog. Sounds like you have done this correctly. WordPress should be installed at the root of each of these new folders you created. If you install WordPress in a subfolder and then exampleblog1.com/blog unnecessarily just added another subfolder that was not necessary to add, unless of course you want to install two blogs in the root of a domain. In this scenario would be using a WordPress Installation as a primary site and then the other would be an installation of WordPress blog designated under the main site. At the root of your domain / website you want to create these folders and then install WordPress in each folder separately. This is the best structure and the convention name to avoid problems with name resolution and many other problems. Exampleblog1.com exampleblog2.com exampleblog3.com Before I answer the question, as I understand it, I point this out. There are a couple of different ways to make your WordPress blog. The default state of your WordPress blog is to have all messages sent to your last page blog home of a typical blog post is, more current is published in the highest office, the oldest is below, after next, etc. An alternative configuration is to have a WordPress blog home page is a static page. What, then, may designate another page as their 'official' blog on his website. The practical use of this method of configuration is when you want your Home page for the content of what you want to stay more or less consistently the same instead of having all their recent messages posted on its homepage. Ok so now the answer: Click on the Settings panel in your WordPress blog. Click General. You will see these two settings: WordPress address (URL) Blog address (URL) Enter the address here if you want your blog homepage to be different from the directory you installed WordPress. This gives the option to designate a different blog site, in addition to the default root of your website and will also be your home page. If you see exampleblog1.com/blog as the URL in the general configuration, this means that you have installed the WordPress folder and exampleblog1.com/blog not the root folder, there would be / blog on the end of the URL. If this is the case I recommend you move your WordPress blog, follow these instructions>>> http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress>>> It's fast and easy to do. Unless of course you intend to have a main website WordPress and then another at the WordPress website that acts as the main site a separate blog. An example of this scenario can be seen on my website>>> http://www.ait-pro.com/ my main website has another WordPress installation WordPress in a subfolder called / aitpro-blog. I wanted to have my main site does not look and act like a typical WordPress blog and I wanted my blog to look and act completely a WordPress blog. Both sites look visually identical, so the visitor can not say that they are actually switching between two different sites of WordPress - you get the best of both worlds with this method. Instead you can have a WordPress blog does not look like a blog on everything and even hide the designated post a blog post as I did here (I used pages navigation Exclude WordPress plugin)>>> http://www.visionsign.net/vision/ So let's say you want to set its home page as a static page, which in your case, you may or may not want or decide to do. You could then create a new blog or nominate a page your existing website to be the designated "official" blog rather than the home page. To configure a static page (cover) and a page Blog designated (Page posts) Click the Settings panel. Click Read. You will see these options. Home is your last option shows messages or a static page. , Just choose what page you want as your first page and any page you want the Messages page. I hope I answered your question and perhaps giving more ideas and options to think. One thing I like to impress upon you is that it is better to fix things optimally from the beginning of Otherwise you could end up costing yourself a lot of time if you end up having to redesign your WordPress blog in the future. Good luck!
