WordPress is a great tool with tons of community support. But sometimes when you can not make him do his bidding, no one has written a plugin to do what you want, and Google does not reveal any hacks acceptable, simply turn Static displays are not supposed to dynamic things. The default is to show the 10 most recent get_posts template tag. To use, just put the following into the HTML of any page or message, use as many times as you like
on the same page:

[Get_posts]

This will use default in the last 10 messages in reverse chronological order. Along with all the options offered by the label Template get_posts also accept an additional option:

ul_class: This is the class assigned to the bulleted list. Default "get_posts_class."

An example with a few options:

[Get_posts tag = "my favorite label" numberposts orderby = 5 = "title]

Sample 5 posts tagged "my favorite label" sorted by title.
